TORNOMAT - the high productivity polygon turning machine

The TORNOMAT machines are polygon turning machines for the production of surfaces and profiles on turned, forged and cast parts. It can also be used to produce grooves and slots.

Owing to the high efficiency on series parts, they present a real alternative to milling, broaching or slotting.

2 clamping stations allow for loading and unloading during runtime, both manually and automatically using a loading system.

Good cut distribution and short cutting times and the cutting forces are balanced thanks to the simultaneous use of 2 cutter heads.

At the same time, additional operations such as chamfering, deburring, countersinking, drilling, etc. can also be carried out.

The TORNOMAT 2E machine represents the cost-effective entry level. The part dimensions stretch to a work piece diameter of 40 mm with a max. turning length of 60 mm

If machining should be carried out on 2 sides of a work piece, the TORNOMAT 2S with 2 opposite machining units is suitable for this. The machining diameters are the same as for the normal TORNOMAT 2E machine, the work piece lengths stretch from 16 to 150 mm. Greater lengths are possible. Alternatively - to achieve maximum productivity - 2 shorter work pieces can also be machined with this machine.

The universal TORNOMAT 3 CNC model is used in particular for larger work pieces and heavy machining.

A cross slide optionally available as a CNC axis allows for face turning and recessing operations using the cylindrical turning method. The part dimensions stretch to a work piece diameter of 110 mm with a max. turning length of 90 mm, optionally up to 160 mm.
