WBF - CNC boring machine, the all-rounder for machining parts with maximum precision

They are universal boring machines in a crossbed design with the performance and structure of machining centres. The compact design allows for space-saving installation. In addition to classic drilling with quill, powerful milling can also be done in a single clamping operation. With its narrow quill, it is the ideal machine for machining interior contours such as bearing seats in gearboxes or deep-set points on pressure and injection moulding tools.

The modern machine building technology, plenty of power, and an automatic tool changer make this machine a profitable investment for the machining of cubic work pieces.

A broad range of traverses and accessories make it possible to put together the right machine for any requirements.

To increase efficiency through a runtime parallel set-up, the machine can also be designed as the WBF-D double table machine. Here, the individual tables are alternately traversed into the work area and are returned to their outer set-up positions after machining.
When required, the two tables can also be coupled and traversed synchronously, thus allowing for the machining of oversized parts.

Alternatively, the machine is also available as a variant with a pallet changing system. Here, the individual pallets are alternately traversed into the work area and are placed in the deposit positions after machining.

Numerous equipment variations such as collar bearings, angular milling heads, and docking adapter heads expand the range of applications and thus allows for the 5-sided machining of work pieces.

An NC-controlled facing head allows for precise turning of larger contours such as pump housings, hydraulic blocks, etc.
